Our Story

The Evolution of Singletrack 3

The TransRockies Singletrack 3 is the next chapter in our long legacy of world-class mountain bike stage racing.

Born from the roots of our celebrated 6-day stage race, Singletrack 6, this new event captures everything riders loved about the original — epic trails, incredible communities, and the unforgettable TransRockies experience — but in a tighter, faster, and more accessible 3-day format.

Designed for riders who crave the adventure and camaraderie of a stage race but want a long-weekend-sized challenge, Singletrack 3 brings you three days of world-class mountain biking through the legendary trails of Fernie, BC.

You’ll find all the classic TransRockies details you know and love — professionally managed courses, daily results, signature hospitality, and a welcoming race community — all wrapped up in an experience that feels fresh, focused, and full of flow.

Think of it as Singletrack 6 meets Moab Rocks: a concentrated dose of TransRockies stoke that celebrates the pure joy of riding great trails with great people.

This is more than just a race — it’s an evolution. Welcome to Singletrack 3.

Who Is TransRockies?

For over two decades, TransRockies has been in the business of building legends.

From the high alpine of the original TransRockies Challenge to the singletrack sanctuaries of Singletrack 6, and the wild, wide-open rock of Moab Rocks, we’ve carved out a reputation for putting on races that leave a mark.

We don’t just put flags in the ground. We create experiences that push your limits, forge community, and stick with you long after the finish line. The Rough Rider is the next chapter in that legacy. A new kind of gravel stage race set against the dusty, pine-fringed backroads of Prescott, Arizona.

On Sustainability

We ride wild places. And we believe in leaving them better than we found them.

Here’s how we do our part:

  • Built to Last: Course signs, markers, and infrastructure is reused year after year.

  • Waste Less, Feed More: Leftover food fuels our crew and goes to local food organizations after the event – not the landfill.

  • Local First: From coffee to course tape, we source as much as we can from local businesses that keep Prescott strong.

The goal? Less waste. More good. Simple as that.
