Our volunteers are the heartbeat of this event — the smiling faces at checkpoints, the voices cheering riders up climbs, and the people who bring warmth and energy to every corner of the course.

Your time, effort, and good vibes help create the unforgettable experience riders take home from Fernie.

TransRockies Volunteer Program

Volunteers mean the world to us, and we’re committed to making your experience meaningful and fun.

As a volunteer, you’ll receive:

  • A volunteer-exclusive gift

  • The satisfaction of supporting riders through the high desert

And the best part? Volunteer with us and you’ll earn a free entry to the same TransRockies event next season. Or after the event is over we will give you a code that can be used for a future event. It’s our way of saying thank you for helping bring the event to life.

Volunteer Positions for Singletrack 3

Whether you're trail-savvy or just excited to be part of the action, there’s a role for you:

Aid Stations
Keep riders fueled, hydrated, and motivated.

Course Marshals
Help guide riders, ensure safety, and keep spirits high out on course.

Finish Line Crew
Celebrate riders as they complete their stage — timing, recovery support, and lots of high-fives.

Package Pick-Up
Welcome riders, answer questions, and help set the tone for race weekend.

Volunteer Program Conditions

To keep things fair and consistent:

  • Opportunities depend on available volunteer positions.

  • Volunteers must accept their assigned role (preferences considered).

  • Event credits apply only if the event is not sold out.

  • No cash value.

  • No-shows may be ineligible for future volunteer spots.

  • Credits are transferable to friends or family.

  • Credits expire 12 months from the date issued.
